Flooding, caused by heaviest rain the Balkan Peninsula has ever seen, has left four people dead in Bosnia, police and officials say. Police said on Friday that two people died after separate landslides caused by floods in the northeastern Bosnian towns of Bijeljina and Vlasenica. Another died as rescuers were trying to reach his house in the northern Bosnian town of Maglaj, which could not be reached except by boats and helicopters. The last one to fall victim was a man who drowned in the western town of Sanski Most late on Friday, while two others remained missing. The deaths bring to seven the number of those killed since Wednesday, when heavy rains began in the region.
